This committee reviews and recommends policies on the care and use of animals in research. The Provost appoints five faculty members, and three members of the community, one of whom must be a veterinarian, for staggered three-year terms. The chair is appointed from among the faculty members for a one-year term. The Director of Grants and Sponsored Research Development will serve ex officio.
