You can now access online the names of students who received degrees and/or who were placed on the
President’s and Dean’s lists for outstanding academic performance.
To use the graduate’s list, you can type in the last name of a student or choose to view graduates by
degree, major or place of residence by city, county and state. Most of the
boxes offer a pull-down menu of choices to select.
For example, if you are looking for students from Aiken, S.C., you can click on the arrow beside the
city selection to provide the cities where Winthrop students live and select
Aiken to search the database.
The graduate list also contains the names of students who graduated with honors.
To use the President’s or Dean’s lists, you can access the students’ information by last name or by
county and state.
Once you locate the information you need using either list, you may download the information into an
Excel file.
Academic Honors
President’s List
The following students who had outstanding
academic accomplishments during the fall semester have earned inclusion on the
President’s List at Winthrop University. To be named to the President’s List,
undergraduate students had to complete a minimum of 12 semester hours of courses
taken on a letter-grade basis (excluding S/U) and who earned a grade-point
average of 4.00 (all As).
Students are listed alphabetically, along with their county and state of residence.

Dean’s List
The following students who had outstanding academic accomplishments during the
fall semester have earned inclusion on the Dean’s List at Winthrop University.
To be named to the Dean’s List, undergraduate students had to complete a
minimum of 12 semester hours of courses taken on a letter-grade basis
(excluding S/U) and who earned a grade-point average of 3.50.
Students are listed alphabetically, along with their county and state of residence.

Honor Graduates
The following students were granted bachelor’s degrees with an honors
designation during fall commencement at Winthrop University. They are listed
alphabetically, along with their degree, major, and state of residence.
Any undergraduate student who completes degree requirements with a final grade-point average of 3.50 to
3.74 shall be granted a diploma cum laude; any undergraduate
student who completes degree requirements with a final grade-point average of 3.75
to 3.89 shall be granted a diploma magna cum laude; any
undergraduate student who completes degree requirements with a final
grade-point average of 3.90 or higher shall be granted a diploma summa
cum laude.
